Before You Purchase – Important Information

AC of Fort Worth provides HVAC equipment as part of a professionally installed system or through equipment ordered specifically for your project.

All equipment is ordered new from authorized distributors and selected based on your home's requirements, system sizing, electrical compatibility, and local code considerations.

Because HVAC systems are custom-matched and scheduled for installation, we encourage all customers to carefully review their quote and ask questions prior to purchase.

Order Cancellations & Refund Eligibility

Customers may cancel their order within 14 days of purchase, or any time before the equipment is installed, whichever occurs first.

Once the equipment has been installed in the home, the order becomes final and non-refundable.

If a cancellation is approved:

• Credit card processing fees are non-refundable
• Any costs already incurred (including equipment procurement, staging, or scheduling fees) may be deducted from the refund

After Installation – Warranty in Place of Refunds

Once equipment has been installed:

• Refunds are no longer available
• Any post-installation issues will be addressed through the applicable warranty, not through returns or refunds

Customers may submit warranty claims for:

• Non-functioning or failed components
• Manufacturer-covered defects

Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty: 10 years when registered within 60 days of installation, typically 5 years if not registered in time. Our licensed installation partner registers your equipment with the manufacturer on your behalf within 60 days. Every system we install also includes a 5-Year Labor Warranty provided through our licensed installation partners. If an installation-related issue arises, or a repair covered by the manufacturer's parts warranty needs labor, within five years of installation, we cover the labor at no charge.

Warranty coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by manufacturer and product. Customers are responsible for reviewing the specific warranty terms provided with their equipment.

AC of Fort Worth will assist with the warranty claim process when applicable.

Installation-Related Concerns

If an issue is believed to be related to :

• Please notify AC of Fort Worth within 48 hours of installation

• Verified installation-related issues will be corrected in accordance with our standards and applicable coverage

Exchanges

HVAC systems cannot be exchanged once installed.

If a change is requested prior to installation, we will revise the quote and scheduling accordingly.

Shipping & Delivery

Installed Systems

HVAC equipment is delivered directly to your property as part of the scheduled installation.

AC of Fort Worth does not charge separate shipping fees for installed systems. Delivery timing is coordinated with your installation date and confirmed in advance.

Equipment-Only Orders

For equipment-only purchases:

• Delivery timelines will be communicated prior to purchase
• Freight charges (if applicable) will be disclosed in advance
• Customer is responsible for inspecting equipment upon delivery and reporting any damage within 24 hours

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of HVAC equipment, the following items are non-returnable once ordered or installed:

• Installed HVAC systems
• Special-order or custom-configured equipment
• Opened or used equipment
• Electrical components, refrigerant-related parts, and accessories
